GPA: more than 80 (more than 3.00) is required.

Language requirements:

Classes during the first two years of the program are offered in English, but the remainder of the Professional Healthcare programs (from the third year onwards) will be held in Persian.

The language of instruction at IUMS for international students is English, both at undergraduate and postgraduate level. However, because some health care majors and programs require students to interact with patients who speak Persian, learning Persian may be mandatory for students in those programs. These students are often healthcare professional students (pursuing MD, PharmD, DDS, or nursing degrees). However, it is the admissions office that will ultimately determine which students require Persian or remedial English courses, and whether they are recommended or mandatory for that student.

The Language Academy at IUMS International College is responsible for teaching Persian to IUMS international students. The University may decide to offer English language courses to IUMS students, staff and faculty, or to outsource them as required each semester, while maintaining overall oversight of the content and quality of the courses offered.

University housing and internal departments

University housing at this time is for female students only.
The apartment consists of 5 floors and occupies an area of 160 square meters per floor. Each floor has four rooms and a maximum of seven students can be accommodated on each floor. The apartments are furnished with the following amenities: 24-hour security guard, caretaker, elevator, refrigerator-freezer, washing machine, TV, high-speed internet, air conditioner, gas heating, radiator package. You also have access to certain equipment such as a steam iron and tea/coffee maker.
Each room has the following features

VIP MASTER: This room has a separate toilet and bathroom from the accommodation unit for one person (monthly rent is higher than standard rooms)
Regular rooms (Type A or B): can be occupied by one resident or shared by two students. Rent is less expensive if shared/occupied by two residents.
