Isfahan University is an Iranian public university located in the city of Isfahan. State-run in Isfahan and among the top 10 comprehensive universities in Iran to take admissions. The university is located in Azadi Square in Isfahan. It has another campus in Khansar.
Isfahan University offers undergraduate degrees in 71 fields, graduate degrees in 185 fields and graduate degrees in 119 fields. Students can study a variety of courses at bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels full-time and part-time. The university includes fourteen colleges and fifty-five departments.
Isfahan University has more than six hundred full-time academic members. The student body consists of 8,884 undergraduate students and 6,327 graduate students from thirty provinces. University admission into Isfahan University is limited to the top 10% of students who pass the national entrance examination administered annually by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. Isfahan University has several research centers.
